How to Use Zoom

Step 1: Find your email confirmation from registering
It will include the link to join which should look like the image shown.
Click the link that says “Click Here to Join”

Step 2: Join from your browser
A page will pop up after clicking the link to join which will prompt you with how you would like to join the meeting.
You do NOT have to download Zoom, simply click “join from your browser”

Step 3: Join the meeting
After you’ve chosen to join from your browser, you’ll be prompted to input your information such as your name and then you’ll click “Join”

Step 4: Choose your audio settings
A box will pop up asking what audio settings you’ll want to use for the meeting. Most users choose to use their computer audio whether that’s through headphones or speakers but you have the option to dial in on your phone and have the meeting audio on your phone.
If you would like to use your computer audio settings, click “Join with Computer Audio”.
If you would like to use your phone audio settings, click “Phone Call” at the upper left of the box and use the dial-in information provided in your confirmation email.
*Please note that your video will automatically be turned off and your microphone will be muted when you join the meeting. If you would like to turn your camera on for the event, click the camera icon on the lower left of the black bar at the bottom of your screen when the event starts. You don’t have to turn your video on if you don’t feel comfortable!

Step 5: Hang out in the waiting room
If you’ve joined before the event has started, you’ll be placed in the waiting room until we’ve officially started the event. This is a great time to grab a snack!
